There is another film called Jigra in which Alia Bhatt will act as a warrior. The movie, much anticipated since it ended shooting earlier this year, will be released on 11th October 2024. First, it was announced that the film would be released on 27 September 2024 but was later shifted two weeks forward.
Jigra is directed by Vasan Bala who is well-known for his neo-noir action films like Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota so you know its going to be an amazing experience. On Thursday Dharma Productions shared what they call “A fierce journey to protect your own…your jigra! Starring Alia Bhatt & Vedang Raina – #Jigra arrives in cinemas on 11th October, 2024.”

Vedang Raina plays opposite Alia Bhatt. After making his debut in The Archies following as a newbie to the industry, Raina has already become a talking point with some of his followers speculating that he might perform as Bhatt’s brother in the movie though there isn’t official confirmation about the relationship between their characters yet.
Such diversions include not only playing the lead role but also being one of Jigra’s co-producers and she does this under her Eternal Sunshine Productions banner together with Dharma Productions who are already established. This enterprise marks her second production attempt after Darlings.
