Independence Day this year will be significant for Maddock Films, a production company owned by Dinesh Vijan. The highly awaited sequel Stree 2 which combines horror and comedy and has Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will have its first-ever appearance in theaters; also, he is going to show the initial peeks of his forthcoming high-budget movies Sky Force featuring Akshay Kumar and Chhava starring Vicky Kaushal.
Stree 2, which stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as well as other previous installment’s cast members is expected to be a huge attraction during the national holiday. It’s already created quite a buzz and its premiere on Independence day is an intentional move to take advantage of the big holiday crowd.
Also featured on that day will be his soon coming action-packed extravaganza Sky Force that includes Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya in the lead roles. This means another quick delivery for Akshay kumar after Khel Khel Mein releases just weeks before, on August 15th. Producers Maddock Films and Jio Studios’ Sky Force is scheduled for a grand release on October 2, 2024.
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal is featured in Chhava, which is an historical drama movie. The movie has been programmed for release on December 6th, 2024 following his last film Sam Bahadur which was also released on December 1st, last year with similar success strategy.
