Ajay Devgn to Collaborate with Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal Director: Report
Actor Ajay Devgn has been seen running from one film set to another. Recently, he completed the filming of Singham Again in Kashmir and now fresh reports indicate that he is in talks for his next project with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti. This possible collaboration is surely gaining the attention of fans as well as industry insiders.

According to Pinkvilla’s exclusive report, Ajay Devgn liked a concept pitched by Jagan Shakti. The actor and director met multiple times over few months and this discussion was about exploring their future as partners. A source close to the development explained, “Ajay enjoys Jagan’s idea and looks forward to partnering with him for their new project. No one knows about its genre or other details yet but it’s an exciting world for Ajay. They are discussing and figuring out the logistics at the moment.”
The source further noted that if everything goes as planned then early 2025 could be when Ajay Devgn will start shooting for Jagan Shakti directorial.
Upcoming Projects of Ajay Devgn
Ajay Devgn has his hands full with various high profile projects lined up in his schedule. Some of them are sequels to his hit movies. As reported by Pinkvilla, “By end-May, Ajay will wrap up shooting for Singham Again followed by Raid 2 which will both release in H2-2024. Next month he heads to London – De De Pyaar De 2 and Son of Sardar 2.”
Additionally, according to the article, Ajay will be in London beginning work on Anushul Sharma’s De De Pyaar De 2 which commences with a two week schedule from June onwards.“On calling it a wrap on the brief schedule of De De Pyaar De 2 in London, Ajay kicks off the sequel to his 2012 hit comedy, Son of Sardar. It’s going to be a back-to-back shoot for Ajay,” the source added.
On March 13th , T-Series announced through an Instagram post that De De Pyaar De 2 will be released on May 1, 2025. The announcement was made by T-Series and Luv Films via their Instagram handles. The post reads, “De De Pyaar De 2 will be releasing on May1st,2025. Directed by @anshul3112 Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan & @gargankur82 Written by @tarun.j.85 & Luv Ranjan.”
Ajay Devgn’s original film starred Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh alongside him. Its plot is based on a fifty-year-old Ashish (played by Ajay) who falls in love with Ayesh (Rakul), a twenty six year old girl. Tabu plays the role of his ex-wife while the story delves into societal backlash and complexities emerging from their unconventional affair.”
