The meeting between the district and secretaries of AIADMK and the central office bearers has been postponed.
Earlier, the general secretary of AIADMK, Edappadi Palaniswami was slated to preside over this meeting which was scheduled for August 9th at their headquarters MGR Maligai, Chennai.
According to an official release by the party, Mr. Palaniswami approved of the delay in scheduling a new date for it; though they did not specify reasons for doing so. The same is true with respect to why this gathering could not go on as planned.
