All is set for the wedding of Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, and Radhika Merchant, the daughter of an industrialist Viren Merchant.

Mumbai is all geared up to witness Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tie the knot. The Ambanis are planning for another round of grand pre-wedding festivities.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani will be organizing a mass wedding for underprivileged on 2nd July at Swami Vivekanand Vidyamandir in Palghar as part of pre-wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The recent viral wedding invitation gave a sneak-peak into what’s happening in this high profile event that will take place at Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.

Visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Monday, Nita Ambani who is the Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation went there to offer prayers before giving out the first wedding invitation which was meant for Lord Shiva.

These marriage rituals are well-organized events following traditional Hindu Vedic customs. The main ceremonies will start on Friday, July 12th with Shubh Vivah – Auspicious Wedding Function according to sources where guests are requested to dress up in Indian traditional attire so that they can feel one with them.

The next day being Saturday 13th July will also have Shubh Aashirwad.

Lastly Mangal Utsav or the Wedding Reception shall take place on Sunday 14th July where people are asked to put on ‘Indian Chic’ dressing code in order to mark this big day.

Radhika Merchant is about to become part and parcel of Ambani family consolidating two leading business families together including those run by her father CEO of Encore Healthcare Viren Merchant; and her mother Shaila Merchant is an entrepreneur.

Earlier this year, the couple hosted a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar that saw a parade of celebrities from all over the globe. With business leaders, heads of state, Hollywood celebs and Bollywood stars having attended it this was a talk-of-the-town event. Among the dignitaries present included Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg together with his wife Priscilla Chan; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates as well as Ivanka Trump.

The highlight of the pre-wedding was Rihanna’s electrifying performance during her maiden Indian performance. The theme ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ through ‘jungle fever’ was a creative touch which left people amazed only to be followed by ‘Mela Rouge’ celebration for South Asian culture. There was also an appearance by world renowned illusionist David Blaine during this three-day extravaganza where guests were left spellbound by his unbelievable stunts. The sangeet performances featured film stars and family members, with a special appearance by actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh that had everyone enthralled including those in attendance.
