In a recorded video, two pedestrians were hit by the truck that was seen driving on the sidewalk in Harlem on Monday and this left residents terrified.
It was at around 4:50 p.m. when the collision occurred at the crossing between St. Nicholas Avenue and West 148th Street in the area of Harlem, New York City. Reports indicate that the driver was unable to control it moving alongside St. Nicholas Avenue causing it to veer off into a sidewalk.

Paramedics treating a victim, who laid there clutching his head were filmed in another clip shared by someone else present at the scene. In no time, emergency responders carried him away from there on a stretcher and placed him inside an ambulance while some people waited nearby.
Citizen app’s video discloses that at this point ,the man thought to be another victim gave officers details of how he saw the driver cut across before hitting him together with his friend lying down near Citizen app video says.
“The guy cleared us both out,” he told police officers in the footage; “I went up over him and he went underneath me.”
Police confirmed that they submitted themselves for questioning without getting any injury.
“This could have happened to anyone,” stated one woman recording on her phone, pointing out she had heard crash noise from above floor of a nearby building belonging to citizen application.
According to NYC Health+ Hospitals Harlem authorities they are all currently reported as stable having been brought there. Additional information about their injuries has not been released yet.
The accident is being investigated and no charges have been filed as of now which has gone beyond Monday evening.
