What could possibly be the reason why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived alone at the Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant wedding as opposed to with her husband and children? While it may be a normal occurrence for couples to go on separate vacations, if it is true then this is surely something that has gone wrong between them. This speculation was further fueled by Abhishek Bachchan’s liking of a post about divorce.
According to Abhishek Bachchan’s interview with Bollywood UK Media published on ETimes, the actor not only reportedly paraded his engagement ring but also affirmed that they are still married. His response further went: “I have nothing to say you all about that. You all blew it way out of proportion unfortunately. I get that you gotta file some stories here and there. It’s okay we are celebs, we got to take it”.
As many may know, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan accompanied by daughter Aaradhya walked down the red carpet at Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant wedding in Mumbai. On the other hand, the whole Bachchan family including their daughter Shweta Bachchan and her spouse Nikhil Nanda came together at one time during the event. Besides, recently Aishwarya was spotted taking holidays in America without her husband Abhishek Bachchan. These actions made people think that maybe there would have been another separation between them.
At one point Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai were considered as among Bollywood’s foremost power couple after tying knots while they were at their height of stardom. The pair wedded in 2007 and had a baby girl named Aaradhya in 2011. Conversely, after becoming mother, Ash stopped working much in films with her last appearance being in Mani Ratnam-directed movie Ponniyin Selvan (Part 1-2). In contrast, Abhishek Bachchan has been dividing his time amongst his acting roles, web series and other business ventures.
