Another familiar face, Abhay Verma, who turned heads with his appearance in Munjya (2021) has now come on board Siddhath Anand’s King. The Pinkvilla reported that the movie King will feature popular Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan amongst others. According to a report from Pinkvilla, the team of King has reportedly roped in Munjya fame Abhay Verma for an important role that acts as a catalyst in this action-packed thriller. Another source said, “Abhay Verma was hailed for his performances in Munjya; hence he keeps landing such roles.” He bagged a major role along Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan as they took part in King. The publication quoted him as saying, “It’s going to be interesting being part of this big budgeted film.”

King, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Marflix belonging to Siddharth Anand is set to be a highly intense action thriller. “While the script is locked, the makers have also identified the shooting locations in India and abroad. The production team is now on the final step to get the entire ensemble cast in place alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, as they are aiming to take the film on floors from November 2024,” added an insider source. This mentor-protégé relationship will be between SRK playing a mentor & Suhana Khan playing protégé with antagonist portrayed by AB.
