Since the release of Animal, Triptii Dimri has become the toast of the town with top directors fighting to get her signatures. Triptii’s future line-up is only getting bigger as she nabs one more high-profile project. According to PeepingMoon, she has now been cast as the female lead opposite Dhanush in Tere Ishk Mein directed by Aanand L. Rai.
According to this critical report, this critically acclaimed director came across Triptii’s work and saw that she would be an ideal choice for this emotionally charged role opposite Dhanush’s angry young man Shankar in A.R. Rahman’s musical.
Termed as a tragic love story set in a world similar to Raanjhanaa, Tere Ishk Mein captivates its viewers through a complicated plot line filled with romance and different emotions. The movie is at last going forward after more than twelve months of being announced on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa held on June 2023. Reportedly, the production was delayed due to Dhanush having southern commitments that he had complete before proceeding to North India for his fourth Hindi film. It is expected that shooting will begin from October 2024 and will take two months primarily in Varanasi, and some other parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Triptii is currently waiting for Dharma Productions’ Bad Newz starring Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk to come out. Directed by Anand Tiwari, this romantic comedy has created huge anticipation through its chartbuster music and hit trailer. It’s slated for release on July 19th.
After that, Triptii will also appear alongside Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video by Raaj Shaandilyaa and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is much-awaited from Anees Bazmee featuring Kartik Aaryan during Diwali 2024 weekend. She also has one more love story, Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi, slated for release on November 22nd.
