Aamir Khan is making his production house, Aamir Khan Productions, a full-fledged studio. Industry veteran Aparna Purohit, formerly of Amazon Prime Video, has come on board for this ambitious project. There are several projects currently being handled by Aamir Khan Productions.
Pritam Pyaare with Aamir’s son Junaid in it, Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947 which is a historic drama movie, Vir Das’ comedy film Happy Patel and Sitaare Zameen Par directed by RS Prasanna are some of the films that the company has lined up for post-production processes.

In addition to developing new content regularly at their facility, the Mid-day report by Nayer revealed that the studio is also considering bringing back Aamir Khan on the big screen soon. According to an insider close to him, a slice-of-life film is being looked into that would be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi for him. The humour infused project will also address some social issues.
However, Sitaare Zameen Par, an adaptation of Spanish film Campeones must be completed first before he agrees to act in another movie.
A perfectionist by nature, he might continue releasing one film every year and six months approximately.
