Aamir Khan, a Bollywood superstar, is rumored to be in advanced talks with renowned Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the much-anticipated pan-India film. According to a recent report by Aakashavaani, a Telugu entertainment portal, Aamir wants to join hands with Lokesh on an all-India project.
However, though there has not been an official announcement yet, sources allege that Aamir Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj of Mythri Movie Makers are already in conclusion talks about this collaboration. It may be however too early to embark on this as it could culminate into a noteworthy film within Indian cinema.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has become one of the greatest filmmakers in the Indian movie industry. His most recent directorial venture Leo stars Vijay which was released in 2023 and did extremely well. It should be noted that Leo was part three and final of Lokesh Cinematic Universe which followed the successful Kaithi and Vikram movies he made earlier. As at now he is busy shooting his next movie called Coolie whose protagonist is Rajinikanth.
Aamir has also been active on the production front. He recently produced Laapataa Ladies directed by Kiran Rao. On August 9th Aamir simply screened this film at India’s Supreme Court only.
With regard to forthcoming projects by Mr.Amir,Khan fans will all have their eyes glued onto Sitaare Zameen Par,a movie about Down Syndrome.Release date is 24th December 2024.
