Recent reports indicate that the ciinemas are quite noisy with the freshest gossip about actor Aamir Khan joining forces with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The two have been in deliberation on various projects including a guest role in the upcoming film Coolie of Rajinikanth.
A series of reports suggested that Aamir Khan and Lokesh Kanagaraj are looking at a possible cameo in Rajinikanth’s Coolie.
Most recently, Pinkvilla spoke to a source, not at others saying, it appears likely the people involved have met discussing plans to come up with ‘fgh’ options. On this ant work, the other options still remain viable and individually valid.
Those sources, last week stated that Aamir Khan may act in a film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. This latest development only confirms those rumors where there was a possibility of a collaboration that might happen. If this materializes, this would be a historic occasion in Indian Film Industry as Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth will be appearing together on screens for the first time.
Aamir Khan last portrayed the protagonist character in the movie Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022. He is now preparing for the launch of Sitaare Zameen Par, a sports-themed project helmed by RS Prasanna. Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia Deshmukh and is scheduled to release to theaters on March this year, which is based on Spanish movie Campeones.
Lokesh Kanagaraj is at present engaged in Coolie, featuring the immortal Rajinikanth. This action packed film also stars Shruti Hassan and Sathyaraj. The film will be an independent film which is not part of Lokesh’s Cinematic Universe, which is more or less like a trilogy. Music by Anirudh Ravichander is also on the ventures of the film.
