Believed to be of Hispanic descent, the gunman shot at victims in Nebraska, leaving no less than seven persons injured including four children. While starting to a lesser extent these killings were widespread and targeted mainly Hispanics.
According to Nebraska State police sources familiar with the incident, Billy Booth, 74 who had reportedly been shooting at his neighbors was later found dead inside his house.
About 15 people were present both inside and outside the home when the incident occurred but most of them were outside during that time. According, three of the victims were adults between the ages of 22 and 43 while ranging in age from 3 to 10 all other kids.
According, the shooting happened approximately at 4:30 pm on Monday afternoon at a residence on Crestline Drive in Crete.
There was no fight before he started shooting; nevertheless, police said it seemed as if there may have been some long-running discontent between Booth and this family – as well as one complaint by someone who claimed that Booth once said “told them to go back to where they came from and to speak English.”
“Thankfully all shooting victims are expected or presumed for now alive,” Capt. Sean Caradori, Nebraska State Patrol stated during a Friday press conference.
Colonel John A Bolduc confirmed Saturday during a press briefing that many rounds were fired by Booth from within his house; however, he could not confirm for sure how many shots exactly. This happened in Nebraska State where multiple rounds were fired by Booth out of his house.
