Six persons alleged to be human traffickers were said to have been caught by the Federal Investigation Agency’s Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Rawalpindi on Friday according to ARY News.
The FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle has intensified its efforts against visa fraud and human trafficking.
Among those captured by the FIA spokesperson, several searches conducted in RWP are: Manwar Butt, Tahir Muzammil, Zeeshan Sadiq, Abdullah, Liaqat Hussain and Mohammad Rizwan. This follows a recent and extensive escalation of criminal activities throughout the land.
Allegedly these arrested individuals extortionately demanded large sums of money from citizens under the guise of employment abroad. The arrests were effected in different parts of Mundi Bahauddin while others were done in Rawalpindi.
Accordingly, he was the guilty party with respect to stealing (PKR) 260,000 for a citizen who was promised employment in Qatar while Munawar Butt defrauded citizens of (PKR) 6.6 million purporting that he will get them jobs as per ARY News. He has been charged with three cases.
Zeeshan Sadiq is also accused of obtaining (PKR) 664,000 from some people for said work processions in Malaysia whereas Abdullah has faked himself by obtaining 260,000 Pakistani rupees claiming he is employed in Dubai.
FIA is maintaining its struggle in order to bring all involved into book and protect victims for justice against such fraudulent acts.
Previously we have had visa frauds and human trafficking cases emerging in Pakistan before this one.
In this nation characterized by deteriorating law and order situation and collapsing economy, every other day incidents related to HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SUCH LIKE have become so common that they now constitute part of daily life (CITATION). Consequently ordinary citizens continue to suffer more and more.
