The Commissioner of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar, has ordered the planning secretaries to expedite the process of taking away all unauthorized hoardings in the city.
During a meeting with planning secretaries, Mr. Pundkar was informed that 224 empty framed hoardings without structural stability certificates were taken down and notices were issued to relevant agencies. He also insisted that within the ten day period, all owners must ensure they have acquired these certificates.
