According to police, a woman from Louisiana was found dead at her home on Thursday, while her two young daughters were kidnapped and later discovered in Mississippi- one alive and the other dead.
A resident of Louisiana who had been dating the woman was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi in connection with their deaths and abduction, detectives said.
“But also a six-year-old girl that was alive,” said Jimmy Travis, who is the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office’s Chief Deputy in Louisiana added. He had victim’s car that had her 6 year old child still breathing according to him.
Travis also indicated that near the vehicle parked near a wooded area located inside Jackson; there was also another dead 4 year old child’s body he found.
After Brunett Callie, their mother had been discovered as a corpse in her house situated in Loranger about 97 kilemetres (60 miles) east of Baton Rouge, an Amber Alert was released by the Louisiana State Police for the children. As stated by Travis she had been reported missing when nobody spoke to her since Tuesday. A precise cause of death has not yet been given out officially.
