In a bid to increase their online reach, US President Joe Biden and his deputy Kamal Harris look set to hire a meme manager for their campaign in the forthcoming American presidential elections.
The notice for instance says that the candidate should be someone “passionate about bringing political content to voters where they already are on the internet. They have a deep interest in politics and thrive in a fast-paced environment.”
The candidate is also required to work from Wilmington, Del, Biden’s hometown.
Primary duties of this official include developing relationships with popular Internet producers, creating interaction opportunities as well as encouraging “innovative ideas.”
Candidates must have two to four years relevant experience, “exceptional creativity in content ideation and strategy development,” and conformity with the campaign goals. They should also have ability to stay organised according to the notice.
Accordingly, the role requirescandidates who will “work independently with external partners” in order to identify, secure and manager engagement opportunities. Working together with “internal teams and cross-functional partners to foster innovative ideas.”
