Adani Group under pressure due to coal supply

On Wednesday, Adani Group's market capitalisation returned above the $200bn (Rs 16.9 lakh crore) mark.

Over the last two trading sessions, the apple-to-airport conglomerate’s market capitalization has gained Rs 56,250crore as of Wednesday.

The charges stem merely from differences between FOB and CIF prices that have been assumed to apply to low Gross Calorific Value coal supplies.

“The markets are getting smarter relatively. They thus assess the gravity of each case before passing their verdict,” said Deven Choksey.
